About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy my life as an expat in Brussels

ABOUT ME

I think I'm easy going in a general way...like everybody on this website isn't it?

I would say I have an outgoing, many-sided, adaptative nature, I mean I can be quiet, serious, funny, whimsical or totally wacky, it all depends of my mood, of the context and the people I'm with.

I'm not mystic in any way, I like to stay close to the reality of things.

I like to discuss many subjects, especially cultures and languages, but I can also spend the entire night saying only bullshit!

I'm adventurous, I can hit the road on a sudden impulse, but at the end I always enjoy a good old local dinner at home with my best mates!

PHILOSOPHY

I like that one :

You get nothing for nothing: expect it when
You're backseat driving, and your hands ain't on the wheel
It's easy to go along with the crowd,
And find later on that your say ain't allowed
Oh that's the way to find what you've been missing

So I'm heading out to the highway
I got nothing to lose at all
I'm gonna do it my way
Take a chance before I fall
A chance before I fall!

You can hang in a left or hang in a right
The choice it is yours to do as you might
The road is open wide to place your bidding
Now, wherever you turn, wherever you go
If you get it wrong, at least you can know
There's miles and miles to put it back together!

(Judas Priest - Heading Out To The Highway)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm using CS from time to time when I'm traveling around (especially in Central-Eastern Europe).

I used to host some people in Toulouse when I was not too busy with my studies, cause I like to take the time to show them around and have some beer talks or parties during the week-end!

I can host people in Bratislava where I live now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had very good experiences of CouchSurfing, met a lot of nice people especially during my trips in Poland, Latvia and Estonia, and had good fun with the people I hosted in Toulouse.

I've hosted people from different horizons , tried to make them share a peace of our pink-city-life and they all seemed to enjoy it! Nothing to lose in Toulouse...

So far it's always been great exchanges of opinions, culture, and parties. I hope it can be the same here in Bratislava.
