About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mainly to finish up my studies achieving PhD. degree. Besides that I like to do experimental photography, exploring harsh music genres :), continuing with my radio shows, and to travel/explore/meet new countries and their people

ABOUT ME

I am childish in a such way, that I can get excited very easily for some thing. I enjoy the uncertainty of traveller's life when you just create your itinerary on the go. I like people. I like to meet them, talk to them and share experiences. Such a cliche phrase :) I also like sarcasm (this was not a sarcasm).
I think I am communicative, maybe somehow intelligent :) and once I have a friend I will never stab him in his back.

Interests

I love to shoot. Pictures :) I prefer old analog cameras, where you put film inside and think twice whether to push the button. I do also build some cameras by myself.
I like to watch movies, Scandinavians and Asians do their jobs pretty well. Weird ones even more.
Besides I like music. At the time I volunteer for one student's internet radio station and have my own show.
And there are a lot more: hiking, mountaineering, books, cooking and cursing how the society rotten is :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
downloading constatnly tons of it. As a music junky I remember only a few names of bands/project/tracks I listen. Just can't keep track with all that. Present I listen mostly electronic music, I enjoy ambient, drone, noise, abstract music, experimental, idm, 8-bit and from harsher genres breakcore, hardcore techno with a dash of gabber :) But I think I have my eyes open and I recognise classics like Pearl Jam, Slipknot, Korn, Beastie Boys, Orbital, Deftones, Rage against the machine, Roni Size, Goldie, Radiohead, Portishead, Aphex Twin, Miles Davis, Prodigy.... and variety of folk/world music tunes. Well, music is something I can talk hours and hours sometimes forgetting to breathe in and out between words :)

Movies:
Blade Runner, Inception, Johny Mnemonic, Ghost in the shell, Stalker, movies by Lars von Trier, Ingmar Bergman, Nicolas Winding Refn, Thomas Vinterberg, Stanley Kubrick, Dave Lynch, Michael Haneke, Kim Ki-Duk, Terrence Malick, Cohen brothers, Rainer Fassbinder, few old from Darren Aronofski,..

Books:
Mostly fiction; enjoying cyberpunk the most. I love books from Philip K. Dick (Man from he high castle, Three stigmatas of Palmer Eldritch, Blade Runner,..), Wiliam Gibson (Neuromancer), Bruce Sterling (Schismatrix plus), Strugacki brothers, Frank Herbert, Sergej Lukjanenko, Chuck Palahniuk, Boris Vian,.. I also enjoy comic books and from time to time some intelligent fantasy from guys like Terry Pratchett.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to not so ordinary tourist destinations such as Albania, Armenia or Georgia. For year and half during my university studies I volunteered as an editor in chief in small printed student's faculty magazine and for more than 6 years I am regular contributor. After that I moved to another student's organisation - radio station Tlis where I have my own show/s and currently I am a chief of one of broadcasting days.
Professionally I am a phd. student dealing with nanoscience and fancy semiconductor stuff and big processing machines. Have you ever seen oxygen plasma? I have :)
