ABOUT ME

all about me? well...i've lived in anchorage, alaska my whole life and recently discovered that i have the traveling bug! i've done a little traveling here and there but i'd like to travel MORE! i love meeting new people and hearing their stories and learning as much as i can!

PHILOSOPHY

A quote from the alchemist "people need not fear the unknown if they are capable of achieving what they need and want." i have fears of the unknown but if you really want something or in my case see everything just do it. i work right and go to school but in the long run it's for me to able to see what these amazing places have to offer. To enjoy life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

as of right now i dont have a couch but i do have a car and would love to show people around my beautiful city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i couch surfed through europe the summer of 2008 and meet some amazing PEOPLE who let me stay with them! i try to be as active as i can with couch surfing even if it's just showing them around my hometown.

Interests

everything. as long as i have my ipod with me anything interests me...with my ipod. i like to bike, frisbee golfing, hiking anything outside!

i've always been very interested in culture and history. i'd love to visit places see the cities, meet the people, and learn.

i love taking pictures of everything i see!

i've started collecting some vinyl records an is my new form of music listening.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: everything! mostly documentaries and foreign films. i work in a bar inside a theatre so i get to see all kinds of movies and i love it.
music: mostly everything. alicia keys, the darkness, carrie underwood, paolo nutini, kenny chesney, Jack's Mannequin, coldplay, rodrigo y gabriela, michael franti and the spearhead and the list goes on and on.
books: the alchemist,any history/mystery novels

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

on my last trip to philippines we canoed up river to see a waterfall. ride on the river was the most amazing thing i'd ever seen it was the most beautiful and peaceful wilderness ever!

i live in alaska so everything here is amazing...just driving home i'll seee a large moose crossing the street. or the beautiful snow we have in the winter. so the list can go on and on....
