ABOUT ME

I have been working full time for 4 - 5 years and thought it was about time I saw more of the world as time kept on getting away on me. Travelling for the next 9 or 10 months at least and loving it so far. I believe that I am friendly, respectful and fun but maybe you should ask my sister, who I am travelling with for most of the trip - she might have something different to say!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't put off til tomorrow what you can do today (except for household chores perhaps).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to see the countries I am visiting from a local's perspective rather than just coming, seeing and leaving. I think that you develop more respect and understanding between cultures and communities by trying to have that experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just finished walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in northern Spain (from Leon to Santiago de Compostela). It was both an emotional and physical challenge and really made you step outside your comfort zone every day, but I loved it.
