ABOUT ME

Hello !

I think I would describe myself as an easy going person who tries to live "tranquilo", without putting too much pressure on thing that don't require it, and to enjoy everyday's life. I always try to see the positive side in different situations.

About a year ago I came back from a one-year-trip backpacking around America latina, from México to Argentina. One thing I loved about this trip was meeting people from the places I visited, and other backpackers doing the same kind of trip as I did. I really enjoy getting to know new people, hear about their life, how they live, and share about what we can have in common, or about what’s different in the places we live in. I'm open minded and pretty curious so I always find something I'm interested to talk about.

Since then I’ve been living in the beautiful city of Leuven, in a house with three others friends.
I’m now working as an architect, in Brussels. So I take the train every day during the week to go there and work.

Other than that, I love traveling and meeting new people, sharing experiences and ways of living. I like cooking, growing plants, nature, sports, ...

Me describiría cómo un ciudadano del mundo y una persona relajada, quien intenta de vivir sin poner estrés donde no se hace falta. Siempre veo el lado positivo de las cosas, y con una sonrisa :)
El medio ambiente, los efectos que tenemos sobre el y su preservación son temás centrales en mi vida e intento de vivir en acuerdo con esos principios.
Soy muy curioso y siempre me gusta discutir en intercambiar de muchas cosas. Aquí son unos temás que me animan : permacultura, diferencias culturales, cocina (vegetariano, vegano o tradicional), construcción con materiales sostenibles, auto construcción, experiencias de viaje, naturaleza, yoga & pilates, hiking, política, huertos urbanos, trabajar con madera, agricultura, learning by doing, ropa ética y sostenible, ...
Pienso que de cada persona se puede aprender mucho !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had already tried couchsurfing a few times before traveling around Latin America but that’s where I really started to meet more people with CS. I have great memories from all experiences I had over there, so now I really want to do it the other way around and meet / help / have a good time with people passing by my country.

Después de un año de viaje en América Latina donde usé CS bastante quiero dar de vuelta todo lo que la gente me dió. Me encantaron todas las experiencias que tuve así que quiero seguir con eso pero ahora ofreciendo mi casa :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As said above, I’ve already been hosted quite a few times but now I would like to experience the other side of CS :)
I really enjoy the diversity of people couchsurfing makes you meet. So far all experiences have been really amazing, and hope it will keep going that way, but I don't see why it would change :)

Sports : Ultimate frisbee (a self-refereeing sport) is the sport I practice the most but I also like many other (cycling, football, american football, Tennis, badminton, rock climbing, ...)
