I am a passionate traveller since my first Interrail trip back in 2006. Many trips all across Europe have followed since. My preferred way of transport is by train and that got me my current occupation as content and support manager at rail.cc where we provide information about individual rail travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I have been travelling for quite some time, I got into couchsurfing only quite recently. When I was travelling with a friend of mine who has been couchsurfing for many years I felt that I too should give it a go on my own travels. After all, I am not that into classic tourist destinations but prefer to find quiet, hidden spots and exploring the everyday life of the locals and couchsurfing seems to be quite a good idea to achieve that.

I consider myself to be a more quiet person who rather listens that talks too much. However, I am always interested in good stories, tips about where to go, where to eat and am glad if I can share time with my hosts.
