About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding my way in life as an MD

ABOUT ME

Poooh - I'm a bit crazy, chaotic, sometimes serious, thoughtful, and dreamy, always open for new experiences, pretty spontaneous, and I love loughing!

PHILOSOPHY

It's not yet complete.- Humanism comes closest!

Reality exists.
- Actual reality doesn't exist.
- That's no contradiction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been surfing quite some couches in South America, hosting in my hometown in Germany, and during my internship in Be'er Sheva in Israel I've been both hosting and surfing :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled South America for six months or so, and surfed with a lot of great people. My last trip was to Israel and the Palestinian Territories. My experiences with couchsurfing are nearly 100% good, and that's beautiful!

Interests

Climbing, Reading (especially news), playing guitar, travelling, meeting good friends and having fulfilling conversations, some politics, and - more recently - medical humanities, anthropology, nonviolent communication, and the concept of empathy

Music, Movies, and Books

Best books are Harry Potter (despite the Hype), or the stuff Paulo Coelho writes. I want to read Marquez' "Cien anos de soledad" next.
Regarding Music: I like that kind of campfire songs a lot, Coldplay, indie music in general, but also sometimes classical or film music. I think the pirates of the carribean title song is staying in my mind since a year or so... But handmade music is best!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exactly this: I was in Ghana to teach at a school for a year and travelled back overland. That's indeed the most amazing thing I've ever done!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, a lot of fact knowledge regarding Science, but especially my experiences I had in my one-year stay in Ghana, in my recent half-a-year-travel in South America, and during my internship in Israel.
