Hi, my name is Florian, and I’m from Stuttgart, Germany. I have the incredible opportunity to take a sabbatical and spend some time in New Zealand, where I’m excited to explore this wonderful country with its exceptional wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and remarkably kind people. In addition to traveling and enjoying nature, I am very interested in cultural and language exchange, as I am curious about the Kiwi lifestyle and cultural habits.

Back home, I work as a special education teacher. I am a down-to-earth and open-minded guy who loves traveling and exploring new things. Regarding hosting: I am reliable, tidy, and humorous. To make a long story short, I’m a pleasant fellow, and hosting me would be a great choice.

After a long break, I’ve refreshed my profile on Couchsurfing as I’m planning a trip through New Zealand and Australia. I would like to meet up with locals and get the best tips on how to spend a perfect day in their area. Since I’m traveling on a budget, it’s like killing two birds with one stone!

Interests

In addition to traveling, I am passionate about hiking, sports (swimming/running), and learning languages. When it comes to chores, I love cooking, baking, and taking care of my plants. On a lazier day, I enjoy watching Netflix or movies. Of course, I also love spending time with my friends and going out.
