About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Simply living (and in free time looking for the best receipt of 'le fondant au chocolat')

ABOUT ME

Mmmmh...
Firstly it's never easy to describe ourself, the question is, who I am and how to be objective about ourself (vicious circle) ?
And secondly two lines to describe someone is quite short.

Briefly I try to take life as it is, by adapting myself but also by staying honest with my opinions and ideas. In two words: Carpe Diem.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy each moment of your existence because it's worth...La vita è bella...

Never give up

Fight for your rights

When it goes wrong, just think: 'Tomorrow is another day'

'You must be the change you want to see in the world.' Mahatma Gandhi

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is one of the best way to meet local people.
Because it is much nicer to sleep, to share some nice time and live a little bit with people than to go to an hostel.
Because we should all share what we have.
Because when you have to much place in your appartement, it is pityfully not to share it.

Interests

Travel of course: city-trips in the european capitals, long journeys, visiting friends in the belgian cities...Simply move wherever and breath some new air.

Discover new people (friends of friends, an unknown cousin, the members of an organisation I joined, meet an Austrian in Barcelona, a Spanish in Spain...), experiences and things (the new song of a loved singer, a little museum of the 'Impressionnistes', an other way of living, a cute blooming village, a traditional feast, a local cheap restaurant...)

Look for the rights of the nature and the people and fight for this.

Walk down the streets of the city, through the country and the fields, along the sea, in the clouds with the plane...

Talk to my tortoises and the stupid cats of my parents

Try to find the best chocolate cake ever

Look at the moon

Play old records on my gramophone drinking Gluhwine

Cook, and especially sweet dishes (the famous chocolate cake of my grand-mother, the apple-crumble, Paul's tiramisu and more)

Join music-festivals

Go to the cinema to watch little productions, author-films...

Share a lot of time with the people I care for

Try to find what means 'to have te right to...'

Sleep (once I would try a waterbed), drink, eat, rest, read, listen to music, dance, run, bike, dream, think, talk, look at the people, stop, silence...
