Buon Giorno. We a Flo and Marlies, a Couple from Graz, Austria. I (Flo) have Couchsurfed twice in Italy. We are both very keen on cultural exchange and showing people around our beautiful city, as well as visiting as many countries as we can.

First and foremost i am a musician. I would be delighted to play music for you, i have studied classical piano for 10 years, ive been also singin my whole life, i performed for as long as i can remember. When i was 18 i got in to austrian-dialect hip hop, and had the pleasure of working with some of the best artists in my country. Either i ft. them, or i produced 90s boom bap style beats for them. Recently ive learned to play the ukulele, and started busking in my hometown, where i rediscovered my love for singing and playing along to it with an instrument. (I am also learning to play the guitar right now, so if someone could teach me the F Chord i would be truly delighted haha) Genre-wise i play anything from bob dylan to erza furman, the felice brothers, or townes van zandt, and many more. (New Folk Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Alternative Country, Rock etc.) play austrian songs . Im heading towards the end of my sociology degree as well, so if you want to talk about whatever societal subject, im very interested to hear how different people percieve the world. In terms of work, ive been doing a lot of work with disabled people over the last couple of years, and it was truly amazing. Ive gotten so much more out of it than i gave. It gave me a lot of joy to assist disabled people whever they went out, and i had lots of fun with them and learned a whole lot from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a newbie when it comes to couchsurfing, but i hear a lot of good things, and the concept of cultural exchange and learning from each other whilst having the opportunity to get a unique perspective on the country where youre going, with a person who lives there, is something i see great value in, and i want to experience it. Also, Dude (or dudette or diverse+), if youre italian, i would love to learn that language.
