I haven't had the opportunity to host someone at my place yet but helped some surfers with information on Gothenburg/Sweden and Linz/Austria when I still lived there...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once surfed a couch in Reykjavik which was my first time. Kind of crazy place. We were a group of 4 and there were already 5 other surfers at his place + the host. so in total 10 people packed in a small apartment. funny

climbing Mnt. Kilimanjaro, highest mountain of Africa with a group of great people from all over the world. We all were sick from the altitude but everyone of us made it to the top with the help of each other.
