After studying and working in hospitality business for 3 years (which means that I know how to cook and welcome... I guess), I then studied Communication and Politics and lived in Istanbul for a semester to study Middle East politics.
I am now living in New York to study documentaries, cinema and to teach French in Bard College.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a surfer, I am kind of stubborn meanings that I don't send thousands of requests but just one or two. Couchsurfing is always about meeting people so I prefer to have a match and really have things in common (either hobbies, job or sense of humor).
As a host... I hope it will come soon. Let's say that I don't settle down easily lately.

Interests

I have to confess that I am part of this lovely community called "foodie"... I can eat and cook or cook and eat with no interruption. And I can talk about food all the time, I even wrote my master thesis on this topic.
In order to stay fit after these good meals, I need to workout a bit (trekking, skiing) even though don't expect huge abilities from me... I may be rusty, sense of priorities.
