Some jobs i did the past 20 years, i think it will tell a lot about who i am :

- was hut warden at 2669 meter, close to le "Grand Combin"
- was employee three monthes at the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit at CHUV in Lausanne. As i am not a doctor or nurse my job included caring for the patient, cleaning them with all the love, humour, attention and respect they needed, caring for their family, sterilizing tools, cleaning the rooms and be as generous as i could in this place where Life and Death combines....

in the "Waitress section" I :

- was the most equilibrist one on a boat that sailed daily on the Geneva lake from Evian to Lausanne by any weather conditions....

- was the most discreet one in a luxury gastronomic restaurant where guys lunched with their mistress and had dinner with their wives....

- was the most Swiss one at the Swiss wine bar in Brussels....

- did thousands of pancakes at several Montreux Jazz Festivals ( very efficient to listen to one free-unexpected-Prince-and his musicians-jam but made it hard to eat pancakes for the next 20 years of my life )

- sold all kind of flavour ice creams at local horse contest (put bigger amount of ice for riders who lost championships)

- And of course i worked several times for the family firm:
(inventory, corrections, secretary, wrapping , cleaning... i've done it all ...)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best tool i know to share knowledge, opinions and beds while at the same time refreshing the industry of tourism and interrogating the great laws of capitalism...

hosted a polish linguist, a german translator, a french biologist, a canadian theater expert, a french dancer & med student (yep both), and the sweetest french couple (sculptor and filmmaker)

surfed in DC with "awesome Glen" (i never really understood the job), the coolest and sweetest DC lawyer, Baltimore's most arty couple, the best, superfriendly and relaxed mennonite american family ever, had the whole South Street experience in Philly with Miss Ferlet and mentally scuba-dived with Attila in Kuopio, Finland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Holy " Yoghurt" day in Lhassa.... "Buddhist Woodstock" at 3650 meters...peacefull and crazy .... if you come at my place i'll show you pictures... i still remember the yaks (and they still remember me)

- My 89-years-old-neighbour who drew every day funky eyebrows on her face in order to charm her 90 years old boyfriend who visited her once a week secretely against his grand-kids will....
