About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To give cheese the respect it deserves.
Besides that, I think i'ts better to live you life without too much missions. Because when you always have your eyes on the price, you forget to look around you and enjoy everything this beautiful life has to offer. Yes, like cheese for example.
Although I don't really like statement about myself I will say I'm an A-level optimist, love to approach life in an playful manner and with an open mind.
In daily life I'm a coach for youngsters regarding personal growth and development. As a hobby I'm a guide with Free Tours, which is a nice way of meeting travelers when I'm not on the road myself. When I'm not working or giving tours I like asking my friends silly questions about life or longboard in the city and search for new pieces of street art in my hometown Utrecht.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because its an amazing way to get in touch with locals en meet people in a new city. I think it's an amazing example of the kindness of humans, to open your home to a complete stranger. Trust is key.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music in general, from Bonobo to QOTSA, from Beastie Boys to Chemical Brothers, from Dave Brubeck to The Beatles. You name it, I play it :) Working on my vinyl collection for a few years now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two month motorbike trip trough Viet Nam was an absolute highlight. Hitchhiking trough Eastern and Southern Europe was also a blast.
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH
Maybe some words in Dutch, the most useless language of the world? Some sweet new skate/longboard tricks? How to open a beer with a newspaper? The choice is yours.
LEARN
Always wanna learn more about the history of the place I'm visiting. And of course I wanna learn more who YOU are :) Besides that, I secretly wanna learn how to play the harmonica.
SHARE
Let's share a good conversation. Or a beer. Better, both!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good conversation, someone to party with or the most quiet guest you'll ever have. Take a pick, I can adapt :)
