What my friends would tell you about me?
Well, I asked them and here are some of their answers:

- Rieke:"You can have a lot of fun with Flo. He is funny and spontaneous, tall and is always there for his friends. He tells the best jokes and is adventurous. It never gets boring when he is around. He lifts more weights than me and has an iPhone."

- Alex:"You have to laugh about his jokes. Not because they are funny, but because they are an expression of desperation lacking any sense of humor. He doesn't go out with friends, because he is afraid of getting hurt. The words empathy and thoughtfulness don't exist in his dictionary. He is a guy, who I would not want to sleep on my couch at all!

- Rich:"Flo is a chilled and reliable guy. He is always in for some fun, but you can also have a serious conversation with him."

- Pia:"Flo is very polite and a great discussion partner. Always up for new stuff. He is tolerant and has his heart at the right spot.(that last one sounded a bit cheesy, doesn't it ;)"

Interests

My two greatest passions are meeting new people/discovering new things and basketball.
When I'm not traveling around, I'm playing in a basketball team in Germany.
Of course I enjoy playing basketball even more when it comes along with meeting new people.

My passion to discover new things or to take a closer look at certain processes may be why I chose to study mechanical engineering. I just got my bachelor degree and am looking forward to continue with my masters degree after my world trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a lot of things that amaze me. Whenever I see the skyline of a huge city or the clear sky at night I am as touched as when I'm the very last person in the basketball gym, who is throwing some baskets (... yes.. like in the movies :)
But there is one moment I like to share with u which impressed me much more:
A couple of weeks ago I had two friends over at my place. Each one showed the best or funniest youtube clips he knows to the others. Then we made jokes about the clip and laughed. We laughed more and more and at some point we were all laying on the floor and grasping for breath because we were laughing so hard! Maybe it was the lack of oxygen or just one of those few really clear moments you have in life, but I just laid there and thought about how important really good friends are and how lucky I am to have such good friends and the other way around. I just enjoyed that moment!
