About Me
Discovering the world and finding out which part in it is mine to play.
Hi, I'm Floor (I mostly introduce myself as Nora - which is my second name - during travels, for obvious reasons). I'm 23 years old an currently finishing my studies of Media&Culture in Utrecht. After this I plan on doing a masters in Sociology. An interest that I developed later was traveling the world, seeing the different aspects of it, all it has to offer. I haven't had the change to go out of Europe all that often, but I do plan on doing that more. I would describe my personality as openminded, dependable and honest, but also having my own will and being a little stubborn sometimes. I don't really think that's a bad thing though... ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment I am studying and working on weekends and I live with 2 other people, so I'm not able to host right now. As soon as I get my own place I would absolutely like to host some people and try to be more active in the local CS community!
I have couchsurfed a few times during my last big trip, which was to the US. All were great experiences with completely different, but very nice people! I plan on doing it a lot more.
Interests
I sing through my life, listen to music and go to the theatre quite often. Love to sail, ski, be active, but also to relax with a good book. The most important things in my life are the great people I'm surrounded by.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
One of my favorite movies at this moment is Desert Flower, it really touched me. But I like pretty much everything, romantic comedies, action movies, fantasy, etc.
Music:
A mix of different things. Gotye, Sia, Dido, Kids of 88, Maria Mena, The Black Keys, Young the Giant, Pentatonix, Tame Impala, Adele, James Bay, and so much more.
Books:
The last few books I have read where Dutch literature. At the moment I'm trying to read some more English literature. I really like John Green and I have, of course, read all of the Harry Potter books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After High School my friend Bo and I took a gap year and travelled through the USA for 3 months. It was an amazing experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
