I am an easygoing, open-minded person with a slight tendency to forget that she was born a Swiss. Having finished high school one year ago I took a gap year and travelled through Latin America - now I am back in Switzerland studying political sciences and Spanish at the University of Zurich as well as working as a nanny.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I first heard of Couchsurfing when I lived in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Lots of my friends there already belonged to the community, so I decided to join as well. I am not a very touristy traveller ... I prefer to go out with some locals over taking pictures of a church that looks like every other church. Rather than just seeing a foreign culture, I want to experience it, and I think that Couchsurfing is exactly about that.

Music: Huge lover of Latin Music (Reggaeton, Bachata, Merengue, Salsa ...)
Books: As an avid reader, you can't really expect me to choose a favorite ... but The Great Gatsby definitely is high up on the list.
Movies/Series: iZombie, Stranger Things, Outlander ... no horror movies. Seriously, keep that stuff away from me.

I went bungee-jumping with a friend this summer. 220 meters down the Verzasca dam. Still can't believe I actually did it ...

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Even though I can't offer a place to stay, I would be happy to show you around my hometown or meet up with you in Zurich for a drink, a coffee or a stroll along the lake. Switzerland isn't huge, so even going to other cities like Bern or Basel is possible. Feel free to get in touch!
