Honestly, I believe you can only truly know a place by meeting people who actually live in it. I like the idea of being a tourist and having more than just the regular experience. A bed will always come as great help.

I'm a big fan of Brazilian Samba and MPB music and really like when people introduce me to new styles of music, especially if they show a little about different place's history and culture. The same goes for different books and movies which can transport you to different times and places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent some time working as a volunteer at the Brazilian Island of Marajó, right at the mouth of the Amazon River, teaching kids about sustaintability and environmental awareness.
