I am studying Environmental Engineering and usually live with my two best friends in an apartment in Darmstadt, however I am doing a semester exchange abroad right now in Surabaya, IND. I have been in Surabaya since the end of August and I am going back to Germany at the beginning of March.
I have lived half of my life in the US and the other half in Germany.
I've been passionate about travel ever since i was a kid. There is no feeling like the open road...!

To travel the world easier and cheaper but also in a deeper, more local and special way than just staying in hostels. I like seeing the place I'm exploring from a local perspective. I think this makes trips unique and personal.

Environmental protection!!!! hence the choice of major :) i regularly participate in local activism in Darmstadt in this subject. Mostly with a non-profit org. called "Greenpeace". Maybe you've heard of it (;
Sports !!! My favorite sport by far is soccer/futsal <3 (excuse my inner american. I know that it should be called football :p)

Jumped in a pond in a swamp in rural Estonia when it was less than 10 degrees Celsius outside. The water was almost black and you couldn't see anything :o They said it's good for you, but mostly I just froze my ass off.
