I grew up and worked in Chongqing, China. Since last September, I have been in the UK pursuing my master's degree. Now, I am starting my journey of exploration in Europe.

My hometown is Chongqing, a mountain city known for its hot pot and beautiful night views. You are all very welcome to visit. I hold a bachelor's degree in literature and film, which are also my personal interests. I enjoy hiking, exercising, and checking out new cafés and restaurants with friends. I am also passionate about traveling. During my time in China, I visited many cities in Southeast Asia. I yearn for a lifestyle where I can experience different cultures and observe local customs and traditions, gaining many insights.

I am a warm-hearted, kind, very considerate, and nostalgic Cancer. I am good at organizing and cooking, and I am currently the "head" of my student flat, so I will make sure to take good care of your home facilities and minimize any disturbance to your life. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My classmate is about to go to Spain, and he told me that he successfully contacted two hosts on this website who are willing to provide him with accommodation in Barcelona. I think this is fantastic! I had never tried this before and used to be a bit scared. Then I thought, why not? Why not be brave and step out of my comfort zone? So, here I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pop, folk, and jazz music. I might not be very familiar with Western music, but my favorite American singer is Lana Del Rey. I also really like the Japanese singer Lisa Ono. Generally speaking, whenever I hear music that I think is good, I will add it to my collection.When it comes to movies, there are too many to name. Generally, I prefer slightly older films, particularly those that are more artistic and have strong narratives. Some of my favorite directors are Pedro Almodóvar, Éric Rohmer, François Ozon, and Woody Allen. As for books, I generally enjoy Western literature from the 20th century onwards, such as works by Kafka, Woolf, and Márquez. My favorite Chinese author is Zhang Ailing.

I would be very happy to share my experiences of living in China and my reflections on Chinese society with you. We can also exchange travel stories. I am very interested in hearing about the lives of people from different countries and professions. Additionally, I would love to cook delicious Chinese dishes and some Western cuisine for you.
