CURRENT MISSION
To live in the moment
ABOUT ME
My friends would say i'm caring, thoughtful, and generous. They'd point out I am prone to random odd behaviour and can be scatterbrained. Anyone that didn't like me might say I talk too much, ask too many questions or are too direct about some things.
I love to bring people and situations 'together'. I can be no-nonsense, bossy and blunt sometimes, but, then again I can be shy and happy to let everyone else make all the decisions as well.
A friend recently told me I was full of contradicions. He obviously knows me well! If being my friend was a job advertisement, I'd be telling you that "No Two days are ever the same!".
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live, we can all learn something new from others if we're open to it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Being involved in Couchsurfing involves making a leap of faith. Many people I know are hesitant to do that, but I believe that kindness, generosity and trustworthiness are widespread traits and being a couchsurfer is my way of showing people that.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The Highlight would have to be a 12 day roadtrip of the UK with my mate Michael where 10 nights were spent couchsurfing with some fantastic people from unique and varied parts of England. Couchsurfing provided us with a much richer experience of England than we could ever have got from staying in commercial accomodation.
Interests
Well, i'm kind of interested in just about everything. It's one of the reasons I love to have lots of different people in my life, I love to learn from them. What I share with others? Well, I enjoy natural settings, plants animals. And I am constantly fascinated by human behaviour and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
The best book i've read recently is "How to talk to a Widower". I like to read good character based novels, new and old. I'm trying to work my way through the classics, but there are so many books, and so little time! My "to read" list, is longer than my 'read' list, but I suppose it will always be that way.
