About Me
Hello! I'm just a dreamer figuring out my way in the world. I'm looking for something I can create that will be amazing, but I haven't found it yet. In my regular life, I love coffee shops and whiskey and music festivals. In my travelling life, I'm keen to try most everything.
Some things I want to do in my life: paraglide in a mountain range, figure out what I want to create with my life, paint a mural, maybe grad school in the future, pilot a blimp. I like writing about people and human experiences, and I sometimes dabble in yoga and acroyoga. Also, I picked up a ukulele a year ago and it's made my life so much more fun! I love music and I've played piano for about a decade, but when you're travelling a piano isn't the best thing to lug around.
I love people so much. I love being human. I think I live for those moments of human connection, where you meet someone else and you have that spark of understanding. In a way, those connections are some of the most real things that you can experience.
Also I love food and want to learn to cook EVERYTHING. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing. Hosting sometimes too.
(Someday I also want to learn how to actually surf. Waves and stuff.)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed a bit in Toronto; it was pretty amazing and I would definitely do it again. Also couchsurfed while I was hitching through France and Spain. It was amazing meeting people and exploring hidden areas. I've also hosted in California.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently I've been reading whatever English books are available in the hostels/couchsurfing hosts I've stayed with. Handmaid's Tale and this one book about how different cultures communicate were both interesting reading.
As for music, I love hard rock and EDM! Also got into Japanese punk recently after going to this punk bar in Hakodate every weekend for a month.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing construction cranes! Hitchhiking in multiple countries! All those random moments when you're traveling that make you think, "Is this really my life right now?" and you realize yes, it is.
