Hey! I am 24 years old, and I am studying to become a performer, dance teacher and dance maker in Amsterdam. Other than that I cannot really say what I'm like, you just have to meet me and see for yourself.

I host people and I'd like to surf too this summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really like it. Great way to meet new people, helping them out and getting to know your own place better.
And hopefully creating a network of people who you can meet once you're in their town!

Interests

I like living outside, discovering new places and meeting new, inspiring people. I love the arts (visual arts, photography, film and of course performing arts). I like going to the theatre or a museum and taking pictures and stuff. I like to be creative, have fun, act crazy and have a good conversation with someone. I love dancing, in the club or in a more serious way in the studio or on stage (modern/contemporary dance especially). I also like to make things or to establish projects with a number of people. I also like speaking and learning different languages.

Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, The Prodigy, Erykah Badu, Blondie, India Arie, Radiohead, Coldplay, God is an astronaut, Bon Hiver, Jazz classics, Aphex Twin, Massive Attack, Olafur Arnalds, Nine inch nails, The civil wars, John Mayer, Paolo Nutini, Jack Johnson, Fink, Jeff Buckley.... Books: The color purple, On the Road, The curious incident of a dog in the night-time, Im Westen Nichts Neues, Her name was Sarah. In general: good novels (fiction), books about dancing/choreography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching a whole day rehearsal of my favourite dance-theatre company at the moment, to watch a group of 10 great, authentic, inspiring and expressive dancers. Soooo amazing!
Being at the top of a really big, bare mountain somewhere in Austria and realizing how small a human being is compared to nature.
Experiencing over and over again how being on stage makes me feel alive.
