Hi,
I'm Flore, 25 years old, I've been traveling around South America for more than 1 year already. I'm specially traveling in Argentina, where a big part of my family lives, and Chile, because I love Chilean people.
I was born in Saint Germain en Laye, where the Paris football team "PSG" get train. After that, I moved a lot in France, I lived close to Paris, in the South West, in the countryside, I went back to St Germain, and finally, I ended up working and studying in Paris during the last 6 years.
During my studies, I've also been traveling a lot, I did internships and university exchange abroad. I've always tried to spend as time as I could out of my country. I love my country but I think that we grow up faster while traveling, meeting people from other culture, working in unknown atmosphere, solving problems alone in others languages..
Furthermore, I will travel for my professional life, then I have to get ready :)!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

For me, to travel doesn't only mean to do tourism. I always tried to be as close to local people as I can. That is why I do mainly volunteerships and internships during my travels, or I visit my family or friends who lives all around the world. I like to stay long time in places to be able to know people, live the atmosphere and adapt myself to the local culture.
I've only stayed few times at CS places already but I really liked it and I think it is a really interesting way to travel.
For now, I am traveling but in few months, I'm going back to Paris so I would be able to receive you :)

Intereses

I grew up riding horses, but I had to stop when I moved back to Paris to study and to work. Anyway this passion still have a place in my mind, and would like to ride again one day.
I've done my first trekking in Iceland 3 years ago and from this moment I couldn´t stop walking. This is a reason why Patagonia is one of my favorite place in South America, perfect place to hike.
Actually, I like to move in general, I like to run, to swim, to dance.. But I also like to read, to drink beers/ wine with friends and live knew experiences, whatever they are!

I drove around California, all along the 66 road, when I was 16, without driver license.
I crossed a river swimming in the amazon forest while a caiman was watching us.
I've been taking care of ostrich during 2 months in a hut, alone, in Patagonia.
I climbed up until 5500 m high, during the night, the Huayna Potosi, until my brother got really sick and we had to go down.
To work, travel and take the bus in India ... Or only live in India was an amazing thing for me.
To cross a Philippines' slum all along the railway line, with my father, when I was 7 years old.
