About Me

Hi there !

I'm currently on a world trip of 2 years with my fiancé Guillaume.

Previously we did some wwoofing/workaway in New Zealand and Indonesia, but we are new to Couchsurfing. We're looking forward to try this way of traveling.

Our respective degrees, literature (Florence) and anthropology/Demography (Guillaume) made us very curious about other cultures, languages and of course, food ! We are passionate about History and contemporary art.

If we could have a magical power, it would probably to be able to speak all the languages of the world !We speak French and English and we would like to improve our Spanish, Indonesian, Swahili, Portuguese, Arabic, etc.

We did one year of agricultural work (vineyard, kiwifruit picking) in New Zealand and we have 7 months to go in Asia and Africa. We are very interested in permaculture, sustainable living, trekking and yoga. Working in vineyard made us want to learn more about wine ! We love craft beers as well.

We are vegetarians since a little while and we love to cook for others and learn some new recipes.

I (Florence) would be interested also to meet journalists to know more about the profession.

Here's our travel blog (in French) : www.acotedelatrack.wixsite.com/ctdelatrack

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From our experience, meeting people is always the best part of traveling !

Interests

We're HUGE fans of music! We listen a lot of music at home, live in bar or in the street. Always willing to make new discoveries.

I (Florence) am learning Lindy Hop and Charleston and I would like to learn new styles of dance !
