I quit my office job in March to go travel around the world. I am a nature-loving person but also like the city life - I grew up in Berlin but have lived in Perth, Cambridge and Barcelona. Traveling has always been my passion and I am grateful for all the experiences it has given me so far.

Currently I am traveling with my boyfriend Florian. We started in Europe and then crossed the Atlantic by catamaran from France to the BVIs!! Amazing adventure. Now we are traveling through South America, right now in Ecuador. Colombia is the last stop where I will be traveling by myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been couch surfing with a friend (over her account) in Singapur, Australia, the USA and the Fiji Islands in 2011 and loved all of these experiences. Since I studied and moved quite a few times I didnt have timt to host nor couchsurf for a few years. Books like "Couchsurfing in Iran" and "Couchsurfing in Russia" have inspired me to hit the road again :) when I come back home I will try to open my home to as many couchsurfers as possible.

Already mentioned two above. Currently reading "Hawaii" from James A. Michener. All time favourites: The swarm, animal farm, all Dan Brown books, Wüstenblume etc.

Movies:

American beauty, Titanic, The Shining, Into the wild, Back to the future, Pulp fiction, Bridesmaids etc.
