About Me

Hi there! I’m Flor, from Argentina.

I´m a friendly person, who loves to travel and to meet new people.

I really like nature and all kind of outdoors activities! Camping, hiking, hanging out at the beach. I need it once in a while. But I also enjoy reading a book, watching a movie, spending time with friends, working out, writing, painting, or having a glass of red wine. Lol.

I have a travel blog (http://shetravelscheap.com) where I share tips and tricks to travel low cost, while promoting to travel sustainable. With STC I combined two of my favorites things in the world: writing and traveling.

I just got back home (Mendoza) after living in the United States for two years. Now I’m getting ready for my next adventure: Work and Holiday in Australia!

LIFESTYLE: A new pay check equals buying a new flight ticket. Coffee is my "day time wine". Wine is my wine time wine (?). Happiness is a journey, not a destination. The moment is NOW. Living aboard can be exhausting, but it’s heart warming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I considerate couchsurfing the best way to get to know a new place. It´s about living a real cultural exchange! And I love it!
I’ve met a lot of people from around the globe, and we are still in touch! They became really good friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I lived for two years in a small town, where the average age is 57. Trust me, retired people are the most interesting people ever. They have the best stories to share!

-I drove 8 hours round trip from Las Vegas, to spend ONE HOUR AND A HALF at The Grand Canyon. Totally worthless. My best sunset ever. And that one was the craziest drive ever, until I drove 33 hours in 3 days to spend one day in Yellowstone National Park.

-3 friends and I stayed overnight camping in a place called Shi Shi Beach, in the Olympic National Park. We enjoyed some wine while watching the Milky Way. One of those nights I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

We only live once. I try to keep good vibes wherever I go! Learning as much as I can, everyday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice meal. A bottle of wine. A good conversation.
