I'm a New Zealander who's been living in Japan for the last couple of years.
I spent a year studying at Waseda in Tokyo and am just about to finish a year of teaching English at primary schools in Mie.

I've never gone traveling by myself but am going to Taiwan and Korea soon before heading back to NZ to do a masters in Translation.
