Hi there! We’re Florentina and Philipp, a couple from Austria and Germany embarking on an exciting new chapter in our lives. After spending most of our relationship in a long-distance setup, we decided it was time to see the world together before finally moving in with each other. Now, we’re setting off on a journey that feels like the beginning of something truly special, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Florentina is 25, from Austria, and works as a primary school teacher. She loves her job and the connection she has with her students (she already misses them!). She used to practice gymnastics herself and now teaches it to her students. She enjoys bouldering, dancing, and spending time with friends in her free time. Philipp is 23, from Germany, and works in the event management industry, specifically in fairs and congresses. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling (especially road biking) and playing table tennis. Together, we love exploring new places and staying active! We’re up for almost any kind of fun or spontaneous adventure, but we also appreciate a cozy night in – cooking a nice meal, talking, and relaxing with good company.

We’ve already had the chance to travel through parts of South America together, where we did Work and Travel and really immersed ourselves in the local cultures. It was an incredible experience, and it made us even more eager to see more of the world, meet new people, and learn from their experiences.

We’re excited to start this journey and look forward to the amazing people we’ll meet along the way. We hope to make great memories together and share a little piece of our world with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We believe that traveling means much more than just visiting sights. It's about meeting people, experiencing a country's culture, and sharing stories. For us, Couchsurfing is the perfect way to do just that. What I Can Share with Hosts

We’re happy to share our travel experiences, especially our time in South America, where we learned so much through Work and Travel. We love cooking and would be more than happy to prepare some Austrian or German dishes for you. We would love to spend some time with you, explore the city or just have a nice evening. Oh, and if you're curious about our love story, we’d be happy to share that too! It all began with back problems (really!), grew into a long-distance friendship, took us to a fake wedding at a kids' camp, and eventually led to me (Florentina) admitting my true feelings. It’s a fun one, we promise!

That said, we completely understand if you don’t have much time to hang out. We know how challenging it can be to juggle a busy schedule, and we respect your time and space. We’re easygoing and happy to go with the flow, whether that means spending time together or giving you your own space. As guests, we are respectful, tidy, and grateful for every experience. We are happy to help you, wherever we can.
