Overview
About Me
Salut! My name is Florian but everybody calls me Flo, so let's stick to that ;D
I'm an austrian fellow who currently studies French and Biology at the University of Vienna to become a teacher one day.
I love travelling and that's the reason why I'm spending most of my money doing it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The concept of couchsurfing is really phenomenal. I mean conecting cultures, travellers and people from all over the world so easily is something really unique and special.
I concern myself as an open-minded and adventurous person and Couchsurfing gives me the possibility to experience my passion travelling at it's best.
Interests
Being a musician myself, music plays an important role in my life. I love to spend time singing and strumming my guitar or playing the drums in the basement.
Keeping myself in good shape is also very important to me. Therefore I'm an ambitious runner, love playing football and doing some hiking.
Furthermore I enjoy going to concerts and festivals.
I'm also volunteering as an ambulance man for the Red Cross.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While working at the Red Cross as an ambulance man, I had the luck to succesfully revitalise someone. I felt so blessed experiencing this moment that I kept being active as a volunteer at the ambulance since.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm definitely obsessed with food and always looking forward to taste new specialities in other countries and cultures. My craziest dishes include: surströmming, bouillabais, crocodile, century egg, greenland shark meat and many more. Although not all of them were deliciously tasty, they were still worth the experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you funny austrian words like "oachkatzlschwoaf" or "paradeiser", that germans won't understand even though it's german. ;-)
