About Me

I'm a very spontaneous and sociable person. Mostly I'm relaxed but have to admit that sometimes I'm a bit of a scatterbrain. I studied Social Cultural Work in Ghent, Belgium and have been living here in many Cohousings. I traveled and hitchhiked around Europe and Central-America for many years. Now I'm looking forward to explore another city by moving there. Ghent will always have a place in my heart but I feel some other challenge is calling upon me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and experience other cultures, meet new people and find breathtaking nature. Local life is best way to show my genuine self.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: It's hard to imagine one day without music for me. My parents are musicians for work. I have my favourite music but I listen to lots of genres. When I was younger I used to be a metalhead, but nowadays I listen more to indie, jazz, punk and classical music. In my house I organise a monthly jamsession: my roommates are playing music and I'm organising the open mic poetry part.

MOVIES: I love old and new movies. I've already seen too many films, but I like the better backgroundfilms. Some of my favourites: "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Mes Fréres et moi"

BOOKS:
Albert Camus - The Stranger
Rainer Maria Rilke - Duino Elegies
I read a lot but never manage to end the book before starting another one..
