Overview
About Me
I am interested in stories and storytelling (fictional as well as real ones), ecology, politics, music, art, poetry, games and how these things are created, partly creating them myself and links between all of this.
Additionally am not really patient, something between lazy and too active and I love to talk. I especially enjoy controversy conversations and surprising ideas, no matter which topic is in focus.
And I'm a vegetarian.
Right now I am not traveling so much, because Leipzig is awesome and there is a lot of stuff to do. Additionally, traveling fucks up the planet: USE TRAINS!!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I was going to Chile for my master-thesis and I wanted to try it.
And now I know it is the best way to travel. You can not get to know a place without people. And it is the best way to be as least tourist as you can.
Nowadays I want travel Europe some more, and visit some conferences while we are founding a science shop in Leipzig.

Music, Movies, and Books
I heard a lot of rock for a while, but these days are gone. For now I like HipHop sometimes, experimental stuff with electronics and Jazz. Folk can be interesting and thrilling. Oh and classic concerts are so surprising sometimes!
Actually, who really cares what kind of music it is! You like it or not. So I would say I like good music.
Books: read regularly but not so much; mainly Terry Pratchett and Science Fiction classics like Lem.
Movies: I am not that much into movies,.... why is nobody asking about games? Ask me about games!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once lived with the dwarfs under a mountain in the alps. It was pretty fun. They have been the inventors of Bavarian beer but in exchange for a lot of money they keep their mouths shut about it. I had not spend that much time there, though. Stretching the limits of living in little caves makes you get grumpy and those little guys can get surprisingly annoying. They are so fucking curious and at the same time try to hide everything from you. Imagine a bunch of people asking questions at each other the whole time and the same time none of them wants to answer!!!
But those glass statues... holy shit, I'll never forget this 2,5m tall green and red glowing sculpture of a cave-crab fighting the queensly-worm. A-ma-zing! Tell you.
Teach, Learn, Share
Maybe a little bit guitar or ukulele or harmonica, or Ompakrk (a dwarvian instrument but it sounds terrible! Similar to a bunch of pebble stones complaining in their midlife-crisis. I don't have it with me very often, but I was one of the best players in the cave!). I also could tell some stuff about climate or ecology or even things that do not exist and never have been existed.
And I really love to cook.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am just sure about myself. Maybe singing a song together if you teach me one. Or I prepare a (vegetarian or vegan) meal for you!
I'll bring some wine!
