Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing, because for me, that's the best way to discover new country, I think isn't in hotel that you can pretend know a country !
Met some new person, and often you get good spot, better than in tourism office 😉.
And it's good for backpacker budget ahaa :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Of course about fishing.. Ahaa (Fly fishing)
I remember, it was in New Zealand, in the ORETI river, my god this river...
Already, 2 days that I follow the river with my friend.., it was 11am and with my polarized sunglasses, i distinguish something on the bottom, like a big piece of hood. I stopped and take few minutes to be sure !
And I see this big piece of hooh move !!
My god !, It's was a fucking big trout !, I never seen some trout like that..

When you see a big trout, you can be sure, you have only 1 luck !, One fake fly, one cast, usually the fish come on the surface to eat the fly et Strike !.. whatever

I took few minutes to observe.., and nothing the fish didn't move.., she gone to sleep lol

I waited 1h45, seated on the floor.. without letting go off the fish, my Cicada (fake fly) was ready, the fisherman as well ahaaa

2pm, the trout restart to move !, she awake !
I unreeled my line, I go on the water and start my long cast.., 3, 4, 5 times, my silk touch the water and my cicada fall on the surface maybe 2 meter a front of her, she looks, she looks, she looks, she comes, SHE COMES !, She arrives on the surface, open the mouth and swallows my fly !!, I strike....
Maybe 1/2 second too early.., I take of the fly in her mouth 😭😭, spooked, the trout left and I never see her again.. 😂

It's maybe for that, that I love fishing, you can win all the times 😉
