ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Florian and I am 27 years old. I was born in Bolzano. My hometown is called Welschnofen and is located in the middle of the Dolomites.Since 2005 I have been living in Graz (Austria), where I studied electrical engineering. In November 2012 I finished my studies and i went to canada for volunteering in the WWOOF Programme.

I love being around other people and I´m always interested in new cultures and meeting new people. I also like nature a lot and, therefore, I try to be outside every day. I enjoy going climbing, hiking, skiing. I also like to play soccer and tennis and I do lots of other outdoor activities. I like to hang out and go for a drink or make party. For my inner peace I like to practice meditation, which is a good way to relax.

I also lived abroad for some time as I spent the summer-term 2010 in Malaysia, where I did an exchange semester.

Finally, I´d like to say that I am an easy going person with an open heart who is looking forward to learn new things and make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live :) Treating other people with respect is the most important thing for me, if people help each other world will still remain a good place to live :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far i surfed a few couches in canada and i met so many good people, haad interesting conversations and got inspired. I think it is a great thing to get to know a new city/place and new people !

Música, películas y libros

First of all i looove music...there are days when you dont feel so good, but when i listen the right music my mood is getting better, everytime :) I like nearly all kind of music (except Scooter), one of my favourite bands are "The Doors" and "Foo Fighters"

I like movies as well, the last movie I watched was "Life of Pi" a really amazing movie, my favourite genre is comedy and action.

When I was younger i read a lot of books, but i dont read that much anymore, right now im reading "One Day", the last books i read were about meditation.

Exchange Semester in Malaysia

I once got a sunburn on Perhentian Island in Malaysia and I couldnt sleep, so I took my mp3 player went to the beach and waited 3 hours for the sunrise, all alone just with a great playlist...still remember that great moment :)

8 hour skidoo trip from Yellowknife to blachford lake and came back in a tiny tiny bushplane.
