I am Flo, and I want to fall in love with my continent again and again and again ✨

I am an energetic, bubbly personality and I am always trying to make new places feel like home.

One of my friends told me that I have such an optimistic world view, that I am going to fall on my face with it one day and that life will prove me otherwise. Those past two years, I’ve given life a hundred chances to disappoint me - and so much went wrong - yet everything turned out great in the end. I guess the only thing to do now is keeping on pushing the boundaries, and seeing how much further it will get me. 😁

I live in Hamburg, where I study city planning. I care much about cities and It would be a dream of mine to be a position one day where I can actively participate in making my favourite ones a better place. I’m lucky to recently have been elected into the city planning council of my city district and I’m loving the work so far.

It was my New Year’s resolution to find out what I love about travelling and incorporate it into my life in Berlin: It turns out it is the people - and Couchsurfing can bring them home 🙃
I’ve hosted a couple of people since and it was always a great time. Sharing some aspects of your routine really helps bonding quickly.

Música, películas y libros

My all-time favourite novel is "le petit prince". Whatever life situation you are in, you will find it in the book and rethink it. I have listened to the audio book countless times and still love it every time. I aspire to be like the little prince.

Going to the European Youth Event in Berlin last year was so inspiring. It made me proud to see this many young, active Europeans united by common values.
