Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the real culture of a country when I travel around and the best place to experience that is to stay with a local.
Otherwise, I want to exchange awesome and adventures travel stories and love to listen to stories like that from other people as well.
Its really interesting and mind changing to talk with strangers who born and raised completely different.

Also, I love this whole idea of CS and think that it really makes our planet to a more connected world with international like-minded friends, good vibes and just an awesome time with those people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not easy to say what I like the most. But I think that I like good oldies, Reggae, German rap and Eminem the most.

I like to read biographies of people with great personalities like Gandhi or Arnold Schwarzenegger but I also like classic books. For example Harry Potter, The swarm and so on.
Over the last years, I really got into personal development. I liked this idea that you are responsible for
almost everything what happens in your life and that it lies in your own hands to create your dream life.
So I also read plenty of books in this genre.

I`ve seen a huge amount of movies. Sometimes I like the mindblowing movies like Interstellar, Inception and sometimes I just like normal comedy or action movies. Depends on my mood.
I'm more of a series junky guy. Breaking bad, MisFits, Sherlock Holmes, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Walking Dead and Prison Break are a just a few worth mentioning here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing which comes to my mind is that I`ve been on vacation in Austria where I jumped off an 80 meters high bridge with a freefall of 20 Meters and a huge swing after it. Such a great feeling!!
Although I'm afraid of heights.

The next thing was volunteer work in a social company for poor refugee kids for a year one time a week. So this was a good experience and learning lesson for me that we can be so thankful for what we have and that we are very privileged to travel around the world.

Another huge thing in my life that I decided to do a work and travel gap year in Canada 2016/2017 which was the best decision of my life so far.
I did lots of crazy stuff like kayaking down the biggest sand dune in the desert in Nevada, hiking the beautiful West-coast-trail in 7 days in the wilderness, checking out the real "Into the wild" Magic Bus in Alaska and kayaking almost 500 km in the wild on the Yukon in North Canada and so much more.

I learned a lot about myself and how the world outside home works and this was just a great experience.
Furthermore, I bought an empty Van a couple months ago after I arrived in Germany again to customize it and live in it when I go to the university. Pretty stoked for this Vanlife!

Update 2019: I live in my selfmadecampervan since 7months and this really was the best decision. I also started a Youtube Channel where I document my travels and the other stuff I like to do.
Very proud that I learn how to paraglide at the moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm good at teaching different sports things, certainly a few German words and my crazy culture :D

I am curious in a good way to learn as much as I can every single day. This is my philosophy of life to go to sleep richer than waking up in the morning.
