About Me
Hey there :)
My name is Florian and I'm from Vienna. I recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and decided to take year off, doing one of my favorite things - travelling!
I'm a curious person (not in a creepy way ;)) and love to explore new cities, landscapes, cultures and everything that comes with it. Since I'm a very social person, I like to get in touch with locals and their culture.
When I have free time I like to hang out with my friends/go for some beers/do sports or other fun activities. I'm also very much into music and love to play guitar and piano. I started to play drums and try to jam with my roommate, who's also very musical.
In August 2016 I started with my biggest trip so far. I went on a journey which brang me around the globe and involved destinations in South America, Hawaii, Japan, China and most of Southeast Asia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new interesting people and learn from their cultures as well as have nice conversations and a great time!
Interests
Music plays a very important role in my life. Live concerts, music festivals, playing music instruments, just listening to music,... I love it all! Sport is also an important part of my life. Climbing and playing tennis I like the most, but I also often go jogging or do regular workout. Of course I'm also interested in Science (mostly Biomedicine and Physics), since this is what I chose to study.

Mostly Indie, Alternative, Rock, but also (old school) Hip-Hop, Electro, Reaggea, and I'm also open minded to everything new :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I was in a technical school and worked as a software programmer. There I achieved skills in solving technical issues and problems with computers. And of course I can teach German and playing guitar.
