ABOUT ME

How to describe myself? ooomm.. My name is Florian and I am 27 years old. I worked for an advertising agency as a graphic designer and now I am studying history and geography in Vienna. Aside from my studies I work voluntarily at a youth center. I love to travel around the world and get to know new people, because I am convinced every new person can teach you something very special. In my opinion I am a very friendly, funny and sometimes a bit crazy person who needs to be surrounded by people all the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up until now I only surfed but from now on I want to offer a couch to people who want to make new friends and experiences in Vienna. I am also available for a tour around the city no matter if it is the sights of Vienna or its many unique clubs at night.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

oohh ther are many awesome stories to tell but one thing can be said for every single couchsurfing experience: it was a pleasure to get to know the people and the locations I stayed at. I would choose chouchsurfing over a fancy hotel in the blink of an eye.

One of the best experiences was for example one couch-weekend in Miami (Florida). We stayed in a huge arpartment on the 57th floor of a sky scraper in the city center and we went to the most amazing parties every night and day. Unforgettable...

Interests

I love to discuss politics, economics, history, humanitary problems, religion and interpersonal relationships. Another passion of mine is photography. I love to capture special moments and places in a very specific way. I also do some sports like table tennis, squash swimming and running. I like to hang out with friends and in the future I'd like to work with young people in a youth center.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Unforgettable party nights in completely different places and situations around the world
- Walked along lonesome and almost endless beaches
- New York City from the top of the Rockefeller Center
- Watched a sunrise from the top of a mountain
- Slept alone on Bostons streets and made the acquaintance of some raccoons
- I saw a tree full of goats!
- Sitting on a enormous dune in the endless desert of sahara
