Overview
About Me
Hi! So my name is Floriane, I'm French and I'm 20.
I'm doing a master's in Tourism with some kind of specialty in Sustainable Tourism. I currently live in La Garde (a town riiight next to Toulon, France)
What can I say? Well... After a few minutes with new people, I usually become pretty talkative. I like telling my story and listen to others'. People use to tell me that I'm crazy and funny :)
Recently I've been trying to push my limits and do things I'm scared of because I want to be an adventurer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on CS because traveling alone is not always the best. It can be really nice but having a kind of guide and create new friendship thanks to traveling is really something I like.
I'm of course more than happy to share my experiences too!
Interests
I really like foreign languages. I speak French and English fluently but I also know Italian and I should be able to understand some Spanish as I learnt it for 5 years but I stopped 2 years ago so I don't really know.
I also like cooking, just talking with friends on a couch, visiting a ton of new places (cities but also lakes, mountains, ...). I like singing too!

Right now I really like London Grammar, Alt-J, Agnes Obel, Cocoon, Daughter but I can listen to classical music/pop/rock/hard rock/indie/electro. I'm pretty open!
For movies: Revolutionary Road, Philadelphia, My Sister's Keeper, Big Fish, Dallas Buyers Club, Into the Wild, The Dead Poets Society, Howl's Moving Castle, Polisse, The Lady
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hm... Recently I went swimming into the Pacific ocean. But in mid-November. People were staring at me as if I was crazy. Actually the water was okay! It was in San Francisco.
This was part of a week-end trip to San Francisco, from Seattle. This means 30h30 of driving, round trip (we were 4, switching). I really like driving :) (We left Friday evening, drove all night, spend the day in SF, left during the night at 5am and arrived the Sunday night in Seattle)
We spent more time on the road than actually in San Francisco but that sounds great to me anyway!
I crossed the whole Canada (West-East), and then the whole US (East-West) by bus this Winter.
I also went skydiving in Hawaii!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you French. I can give the name of the more or less 7-8 wines I know but that's actually all I know x)
We can also cook together! I'm not a chef, but I like cooking and baking a lot.
I can tell you about France and anything you like!
I'd be happy to learn some German, Spanish or Italian.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer my smile and my spontaneity!
And I can cook for you if you're tired :)
