About Me
Hey guys,
My name is Florian and I'm from Austria, the little country in the center of Europe that the Americans only know from "The sound of music" and now they think we are still "jodeling" all the time - we are not. ;-)
I finished school a few years ago and at the moment im studying "Germanistik", which is basically everything German as a language.
So I like to read and write, I also do some sports in my free time. During the summer I like to do volleyball, football and hiking - Austria has some beautiful mountains. Sometimes I do some mountain biking too, but not too much.
In winter I do like every kind of snow sport activity. I do skiing and snowboarding. Sometimes when the conditions are good I also do some sledging.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's the best way to get to know a new country. You get the chance to meet some nice people who can show you around and show you all the hidden beautiful treasuries a country has. Which you normally wouldn't even get close to.
With couchsurfing you also get the probability to see a country from the inhabitants eyes. They can tell you about everything that's going on and can bring you up to date. With couchsurfing you have all you need when traveling combined in 1 person, your host.
So I like to experience this and I also want to give other people the chance to experience this perfect opportunity.
