CURRENT MISSION

Currently living in Hamburg and working in a ship yard a bit outside on a ship new build doing build supervision. Usually working on ships in worldwide service as engineer. Now Hamburg based for at least two more years and happy to host and meet new people!

I am a friendly almost always happy guy who enjoys traveling a lot. I love to travel to other counties and to find the real mentality of the local poeple and to get an idea of the life away from the tourist spots.

I hosted lots of cool poeple and I am part of the local couchsurfing community in Hamburg and have also been involved in the organisation of two awsome couchsurfing camps in hamburg with over 200 people that were great fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scotland in the summer... a crystal clear lake, warm like a bath tub and nobody around!
Hiking Mount Kenya in the rain season with no rain! and almost no other people!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am living with husband in a small house in Stellingen/Eimsbüttel. Eimsbüttel I find the cosiest part of Hamburg, IT IS a 20 min walk away or you can grab one of the bikes... lot of nice bars and restaurants. The lively Sternschanze and Reeperbahn are a few stations away by S-Bahn.There is a guest room with a comfy double bed and the sofa into the office turns into an additional queen size bed. The small garden allowed you to chill, even though it is not very private 😀
