ABOUT ME

I am open-minded, outgoing and easy to get along with. Moreover, I am trustworthy and honest.
I studied English, Geography and German as a Foreign Language (teaching degree) and now I am working as a University-Teacher and study Peace and Conflict Studies. I like meeting people, especially people who think about their life and what they want to achieve in life.

PHILOSOPHY

Being open to new experiences and to meeting new people. If you want something and put enough effort into it, many things can be achieved. Always be honest to yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the last years I have travelled a lot and got to know many many amazing people. I started loving talking English, even decided to study it. And my interest in other cultures and countries has also increased. Since I know CS, I feel that this is a very nice way to learn a lot about other people and countries. My first CS experience in Morocco was great! Then I was studying and traveling/surfing in the USA and had such a wonderful time because of CS. I experienced so much hospitality and met impressive, smart and good-hearted people. I hope to make more positive ones on my next trip. And of course I am happy to host people myself here in beautiful Marburg!

Interests

I like travelling, being in the sun, meeting people from all over the world, football, Australia, beach volleyball, cycling, foreign languages, taking pictures, listening to good music, going to festivals, surfing (I have only done it once, but it was just great :D ), beaches, I like reading, the TV series Monk (mostly because I reminds me of my wonderful time in the Bay Area), being with my family...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably here are many guys who have done heaps of amazing things ... I haven't done that much yet. But I have been able to realize some dreams:to scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef, to ride a camel in the Sahara desert, to be on top of the Empire State Building, to cycle the Golden Gate Bridge...
