Heyho travellers out there!

I'm Flo from Freiburg in Germany. I've just finished my "1. Staatsexamen" in Primary Education including the subjects Sports, German and English. Now I want to begin a Master in "German as 2nd/Foreign Language".

But enough about working and studying! Whenever possible, due to the financial terminable situation, I try to visit as many wonderful places in the world as possible. Since I've been to Australia to do a semester abroad I can't wait to go for my next trip.

That doesn't mean that I don't like being at home. The city I'm living in - Freiburg in Germany - is one of the most beautiful and relaxed cities in Germany, in my opinion. About eighth of its habitants are students which makes the atmosphere very nice and friendly.

No matter if I'm at home or travelling I love being with friends, having some beers, relaxing and just having fun together. Besides, I do a lot of sports, especially if there is a ball included ;)

I think Couchsurfing is not just a cheap way to visit foreign countries and cities, but it's also great to make new friends all over the world. What could be better than having friends on each continent and showing them your own life?

I can't really say what my favourite music is. It depends on the situation - sometimes I like to listen to rap or hip hop and sometimes to indie or punk. But going out and listening to electronic music and stuff is great, too.
Telling you which movies or books I like the most is also hard. Maybe I could say that I really like watching and reading about historical topics like the holocaust. An example is "The boy in the striped pyjamas".
