About Me

You can travel without traveling.

Trying to give and learn. Traveling or being home.

Couchsurfing is for me a question of connections. I read carefully profiles to feel how we would get along together. My first long trip, in the southern part of South America showed me that people were making my trip, not places. And I had so many beautiful experiences with couchsurfing :)

Briefly:
I was born in the Alps, down Mont-Blanc, which randomly became a part of France.
I studied in Lyon, Québec and Paris for five years. Now I am back in the mountains, working during summers in a hut (refuge) and travelling sometime, or enjoying nature, camping, etc

I studied visual art, digital culture, sociology and gender studies for a master. The school where I went in Paris is a place to study social sciences, it really opened my mind to the world, I'm grateful to this place that awaken me. I'm very curious, I like to learn, and take what people can bring me - experiences, knowledges, etc.
I'm very interested by spirituality, and mystical and magical things. Discovering my way...

I am also a food lover, I eat vegetarian and vegan good, and I’m especially sensitive with food coming directly from the garden, giving you all her strong energy.
I also don’t consume alcohol and don’t smoke.

Question everything you do, everything you see. Always trying to be better.

“The universe conspires”

Nabokov : "Curiosity is insubordination in its purest form."

" Les lieux que je cherche n'existent pas" (the places I’m looking for don’t exist) : found it in a notebook from when I was 8. Weird kid, haha.

« Comme je n’aperçevais sur terre aucune place qui me convînt, j’envisageais joyeusement de ne jamais m’arrêter nulle part. Je me vouais à l’inquiétude. » - Simone de Beauvoir

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After an adventure in South America, I'm back in the mountains. There I had a wonderful experiences of life, of sharing, of generosity. I met so many beautiful people. They opened their home to me, they gave me rides, they gave me love…

I have hosted many friends and friends of friends when I was a student in Lyon or Quebec. I like to guide people in the places I know, about architecture, history or nature in the Alps. I try to host people as much as I can when I'm in the Alps but it's not always easy as I'm mainly staying with family.

Interests

Nature, hiking, climbing, camping, live music, silence, literature, cooking, rain, thunderbolt, french fries, noise and smell of leaves when i'm walking during automn, black sky and stars, yoga, meditation, questionning capitalism, social issues, social sciences , gender studies, heteronormativity…
