Hi there,

I'm Flo from Germany. Just a little information about me so that you know with whom you are dealing.

I'm a teacher trainee from a very beautiful city called Münster, which is located in North Rhine-Westphalia. My subjects are sports and English studies. Luckily, I just finished my bachelor degree this semster. So there is plenty of time now to do all the things I ever wanted, which means backpacking in "the land of smiles".

I will be in Thailand from April until the end of June. Chaing Mai, Bangkok, Ko Tao and Koh Samui are definitely on my to do list. Other than that, I will see what comes around.

I´m 25 years old, with 30 coming closer each day.... Before I have started my studies I used to work as a paramedic. I grew up in a big family (2 brothers and 2 sisters), which implies that I'm used to share my food, friends and living space with other people. That is also why I like company around me and I would describe myself as a social person.

As you can see from the photos I am a very tall dude, measuring 2,06 m. Before you ask yourself, I didn't join the NBA because I just don't want to replace the German Wunderkind...

Of course I am kidding and to be completely honest, I suck at basketball.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my bachelor I have been living in England for half a year. I came across couch surfing and always wanted to sleep on some british couches. Unfortunately, I never managed to try out couch surfing in the UK, but my wish to sleep on a couch from another nice person still exists.

I am hoping to meet nice local people who can tell me about their experiences and adventures. Getting to know people from different cultures and countries is always a nice experience!

Interests

Thailand is a perfect place to let my dreams come true.

I am a huge Muay Thai fan. For 6 years now I am training thaiboxing in Germany. Although I have never competed in a Thai fight so far, I am taking my training serious. During my stay in Thailand I will definitely sign in for a Muy Thai class.

Another thing is diving. I want to expand my diving skills at Ko Tao, to see some beautiful underwater scenery and some nice fishes.

Learning how to give a proper massage is always useful. That is why I will sign in for a thai massage course, probably in Chiang Mai.

Other than that, I am always up for outdoor and sport activities,

Music, Movies, and Books

Regarding music I prefer reggae, hip hop and rap. How ever, I am a 90's kid, meaning that I know all the 90's classics by heart. Lately I fell in love with old school treasures like The Police, Michael Jackson, Guns N' Roses etc.

And I will tell you the truth, if you play Justin, there might be a chance that I know some lines...
