Bought a new sailboat, moving to Florida.

ABOUT ME

I'm a computer consultant, formerly working from home but currently from an office. I've been sailing for 20-some years, had my own sailboat for 18 years. I'm single, not in a relationship at the moment. I've lived in Michigan, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Texas, and the US Virgin Islands -- in addition to three years in Paris. And I now live in the Seattle area.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel and this seems like it could expand the possibilities to meet new people and stretch the travel budget. I recently sold my last sailboat and I'm shopping for the next one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted my first CSers in February 2008 and it was a great experience. I also surfed myself when I made a visit to my second hometown, Paris. I've since hosted several CSers, some for a night and some for a month!

I went to Europe for the first time on vacation and came back with a job in Paris, and moved there!

Oh, also have sailed from Tortola to Grenada, Tortola to the Turks and Caicos, and from the Bahamas to Panama -- all on 40-foot sailboats.
