Hi ! I'm Florine (19) and i’m from Brussels, Belgium.

When i finished high-school 2 years ago i wanted to take a gap year and travel in south america. Unfortunately because of covid it didn’t work and i started university. I studied art’s history and archeology for one year which was really interesting! But after a year it became easier to travel again and i knew that if i wanted to travel i had to do it now and that’s what i did.
Now it’s the beginning of june and i’ve been travelling for more than 7 months around Spain, Portugal and Italy. And for my last month of travelling i’m currently doing an interrail to explore a bit more EU and find new places for my next travels hehe !

To share a bit more about myself, i’m an easygoing and open minded person. I love to meet new people and share good moments and nice conversations with them, i think it’s interesting and inspiring. Every person you meet can teach you something and vice versa.
I have many interests, some more artistic like sewing, embroidery or drawing but also about sociology. I like to know what’s happening around the world and it’s important for me to stay aware of the current concerns.
But more than everything i like to share good conversations while drinking beers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It’s such a good way to meet travellers with incredible stories. I also really love hostel but couchsurfing has something more personal that i like!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my friends and my family at 19yo to travel 8 months around EU. I know it’s quite common on couchsurfing but that’s an amazing experience for me !

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that we can always learn something from everyone and i hope people can learn something from me aswell. I’m always up to talk and learn new things.
I’m also trying to improve my english and i would love to learn more spanish and dutch.
I can also teach french or basic sewing skills ! ;)
