About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be mobile. Explore cities and countryside. Read and translate books.

ABOUT ME

I am social and I love both travelling and staying in my city, Paris. My first solo travelling experience was in China in 2005 and I loved it. I like also settling in another city, and live there, taking landmarks in a new place. I lived in Taipei during 7 months, which was an important and positive experience for me. I travelled in Europe and East Asia too.

I like studying cultures and languages. My major was French literature but now focus my research on Chinese literature, specializing in gender issues in Late Imperial era. I teach French and comparative literature in France for a living, but I would like to teach translation and Chinese culture when I am more expert in it.

I love outdoor activities and countryside life, but I found out I like it more for leisure time, and I prefer being established in a big city. I practice front running and rockclimbing in France - I especially enjoy bouldering in a forest near Paris.

Gender and race discrimination are important issues for me, as I think they can be everywhere. I am a lesbian and I expect people I host and people I am hosted by being queer friendly.
