About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have fun, to learn, to make friends, to enjoy life!!!

ABOUT ME

I am sort of new in couch surfing, even when I opened my profile a few years ago, I really didn´t use it for travelling until now. I am a very cultural person. Now I am trying to adapt to this new country I am living in. I am originally from Argentina, and even when I have traveled to many places in the past, this is the first time I actually moved to live indefinitely to another place: Boston. While working part time in the hospitality industry in Cambridge, I identify myself as a teacher. I teach Spanish to adults all around Boston.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to think that life is one and I have to enjoy it the most. I don´t want to find myself as an old lady and with many thing to regret, mostly those that I wasn´t brave enough to do or to try.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few times people from another countries who came to visit Mar del Plata. We went out for dinner and we walked around the city.

Interests

Anything cultural from sharing a nice conversation with people from different nationalities to assist to a theater performance. I love movies, I love reading, mostly novels. I like to go to concerts, even if I am not very familiar with who the artist is, but because of the context itself. I like to explore the new places walking around, without being chased by the clock, and always with the company of someone local.

Music, Movies, and Books

I loved Fried green Tomatoes. Lately I loved La piel que habito, de Pedro Almodovar. My favorite books are Cien años de soledad, any book by Paul Auster. And thanks to a friend recommendation I am starting to love John Irving.

Teach, Learn, Share

People who are relaxed but curious and energetic. People who love to know about new cultures. People with and open mind who are able to understand someone who might have a different ideology to their own, and still find many things in common.
