Im an open- minded and easy- going personality that tries to be happy about all the nice little things that life gives us. After completing my secondary education in Germany, I wanted to see a little bit of the world.
I travelled through Canada, did a Roadtrip down the Westcoast of the States, stayed in Mexico for a little bit and worked here and there to finance my travels.
I´m a nature- lover. I really enjoy to go hiking, doing backcountry tours in the mountains, see wild animals and take a breath of fresh air.
With my latest travels, I fulfilled my dream to see a bit of South America. Driving through Chile and Bolivia with my brother was a whole new experience for me. Definitely enjoyed every day of it.
Going abroad is always a good idea :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Seeing new countries, culture, food and different lifestyles makes me happy. And I´m not a hostel- guy, cause almost everyone is german there, too :) I really enjoy getting in touch with locals, see how they live and have nice conversations with them (depending on how busy they are, of course). I don´t expect a high standart accommodation at all, it´s the good experience that counts :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving from San Pedro de Atacama (Chile) to Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia). It´s a really rough route for Jeeps only without any gas stations or car mechanics. It leads you through a beautiful untouched landscape with wild Flamingos, Lamas and Alpacas. Absolutely stunning. From time to time, you get through tiny villages where you see bolivian woman handwashing their clothes outdoor, wearing traditional costumes. Finally, you reach the Salar, an amazingly huge plateau made out of salt. I have never seen something comparable to that white endlessness.
